Well, it's been an interesting few weeks here at Sutton Farm. Some days have been warm and sunny enough for people to sunbathe up here, and others have been wet enough to make us wish we'd build a real ark and not just cut one into the maize! But we've had lots of fun with all of your who have visited us, and had some wonderful feedback from you, including:

"It's a great place to bring the kids"

"Please don't change anything, it's perfect"

"I'd not been before but I'll definitely be coming back and telling my friends"

Those of us who work here at the farm feel it's a really special place. An outstanding location to visit and relax. If you want somewhere to come and relax and leave the care's of the world behind then we are the right place for you. The whole of the maze site is fenced and safe for children, so you can sit and relax with a cuppa knowing your children are safe and always in sight.

If you want something even more peaceful then take a walk out onto the farm. It's in a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and can help to relieve even the most stressed (In fact some doctors now recommend walking somewhere green to help with stress).

So I'd suggest you take time out from a busy life, and come and visit us and enjoy a relaxing environment.

Firstly a bit about the farm:

Sutton farm is about 700 acres in size - which is about the same as 150 full size football pitches! We have no livestock on the farm but instead grow turf and vegetables. You'll see Sweet corn, Swede and Savoy Cabbage growing at different times of the year.

Although there aren't any traditional farm animals here we do have quite a good selection of wildlife including:

Deer
Foxes
Otter
Great Crested Grebe
Shelduck
Squirrels
...and many more which I'll talk about in the next few entries.

Below are photos of a few of the animals you can see here:

By far the best way to see any of our wildlife is to take a walk around the farm. You can park in our car park, collect a free map from the shop and then set out to walk our 700 acres. All we ask is that you stick to the farm tracks and don't damage the crops.

Hope to see you out on the farm soon,

Ranger Graham.
