Bugs Tours at Sutton Farm

 

We have now launched our Bug tours and have had some very fun outings. In fact while we've been hunting for bugs we've also seen some of the other wildlife here on the farm.

Here's a picture of our very first Bug Hunters:

On our first outing we found...

Woodlice
Earwig
Centipede
Common Toad (I know it's not a bug but we did find them!)
Harvest Spider
Garden Spider
Common Blue Damselfly
and Jumping Spider.

If you'd like to join Ranger Graham on a bug hunt, they run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30am and 2:00pm. We can take a maximum of 10 children on each hunt and suggest ringing our office to book a place (01728 688984). We also advise stout footwear and long trousers.
